Committee draws inspiration from the modern day “ouzeri,” a casual meeting spot that can be found throughout Greece. It’s the kind of welcoming place where people get together to talk, relax, and bond over a fresh-made meal. Greeks know that delicious food sets the stage for a great meeting—whether you’re discussing a business deal or simply catching up with old friends. Committee, conceived by a Greek chef, embraces this tradition.
Committee veers from the expected by designing its menu around “Meze”—a culinary concept that encourages people to sample and share. Our creative chefs prepare small sharable plates that are brought to the table throughout the meal, allowing diners to experience a wide range of dishes featuring only the freshest local ingredients.

    I had no idea Committee had such delicious food. I’d only gone for drinks in the past. Favorite menu items: Bao Gyro, Spanakopita, Lamb Meatballs.

    We love this place but food has really slipped. Used to be such a great Greek menu that was varied and so delicious. Feels less authentic, more limited, just not as good. Even the wine list is so much smaller. The tuna crudo was not good, tuna overwhelmed with capers and garlic. The octopus was similarly lost in garlic. The brussel sprouts were huge and tough and unequally cooked. We have been coming for years and have never not had an excellent meal until last night. Our server was fantastic.

    The food was amazing, and the service very attentive and helpful. The only downside was the noise level. I will definitely come back!

    We visited for V-Day+1 brunch. Service was great and the wait staff very helpful. Unfortunately the food quality has degraded over the years as well as the portion sizes. We ordered the shakshuka and pancakes. The pancakes do depend on the season so I can understand that but the shakshuka had little flavor this time around and we have been to Committee at least twice beforehand for brunch. The portion sizes of the shakshuka has also noticeably decreased. Not that we needed more food and would have gladly taken better tasting shakshuka. Probably our last time visiting.

    My only comment would be for the kitchen to use something other than a cream based sauce for the striped bass dish
