    Usually a perfect experience. Steak and burger were medium rare (bloody, red) vice pink and medium. Very busy night so perhaps the kitchen was rushed. Server was excellent.

    They were extremely busy last night. We had a 5:15 reservation and arrived at 5:00 hoping to get seated a little early, but were told that it would be closer to our 5:15 reservation, so we stood around for the expected 15 minute wait, but after 15 minutes of no word we kept asking what the status was as I had just undergone hip replacement surgery 2 weeks prior. I was offered patio dining, which is not what we wanted as I had a reservation and desired to eat inside. We were also pointed to outside seating, but as it was cold this was not what we wanted either. I was close to asking for a manager as I was getting tired and frustrated, they finally notified us that our table was ready. During all this we were told there were 4 5:15 reservations ahead of us. Was Connor's overbooked? I was very frustrated last night, otherwise the food and wait staff was great. Next year we will book even earlier...

    Connors' is my favorite place to eat in Huntsville, AL. There is no contest to what restaurant to choose as it does not matter what dish one selects; the food is good at Connors. The bartenders are amongst the best and drinks are elite.

    The service was great. The food was good but not superb. My sirloin steak had a lot of grizzle and was not very tender. The flavor was tasty. Mom's crabcake was good but had a shell fragment. The upside down German chocolate cake was dry and way too sweet with the syrup drizzle. It tasted like it was overbaked and thrown together.

    If you want steak, this is by far the best value in Huntsville. Quality if fine dining. My vegetarian son loves it too for the strawberry salad and mashed potatoes.

    grilled shrimp were amazing as was the clam chowder, cream spinach, and cream corn!!

    The food is always wonderful. This is a great date night spot. My husband got the lobster and he said it’s the best he’s ever had. I love the filet and strawberry spinach salad.

    The Boursin filet, lobster dip appetizer, and oysters were delicious! We also ordered the Oscar topped Chilean sea bass, which we did not care for. No flavor on the fish and it has a rubbery texture. The Oscar topping was great though. Some may like, but it wasn’t for us. We had fantastic service though! Overall, really good.

    We normally enjoy Connor’s, but this was probably the worst experience we have had there. We both ordered the 9oz filet. Both came out over cooked and dry. The baked potatoes were over cooked and hard inside. We were going to complain but decided not after the table next to us complained about their ribeye steak they ordered. Don’t know who was cooking last night but it was just awful.
