   Loved our date night evening at Connors. We were taken to a nice booth and our waiter showed up promptly to greet us. The food and drinks were excellent but what really made the night 5 stars was our waiter. Highly recommend Sergio as your waiter. He has much knowledge about the food and flavors and had wonderful recommendations. Our glasses were never empty and we were thankful to have someone who gave us the best experience.

   We absolutely look forward to every meal at Connors. This one was even better than the last. I had the Angus chopped steak with fire, roasted corn. Kitty had the fabulous grilled chicken Caesar salad. Our server, Rachel, was awesome as usual and the acting manager Charles was his normal fabulous self ! Oh, we also got to visit with Bridget and Lexi. Two more of our favorites at Connors. We go there every week, not only for the wonderful food, but also the gracious staff. Pops & Kitty

   I prefer lunch dining , the menu is varied and good value. The food is always well prepared and service is very good.

   Our server Elijah was amazing and very attentive. He came by several times to our table to check on how we were doing and always knew when to coordinate moving empty plates, boxing up leftovers, and to have all the entrees come out at the same time.    One of THE BEST , if not THE BEST restaurant in Knoxville! The CHILEAN SEA BASS two of us had was pricey, but cooked to such PERFECTION with a light, tasty lemon-cream sauce served with asparagus & two sides, which are themselves OUTSTANDING, that I would order it again in a heartbeat. There are about ten OUTSTANDING choices for sides which is downright ridiculously pleasing in this day & age. The BRUSSEL SPROUTS were some of the BEST I’ve EVER eaten served in a light, caramelized honey coating. The creamed spinach is THE BEST I’ve ever had too. Not overly-salted as other local restaurants are want to do, committing the fatal, culinary flaw of thinking more is better…NOT! Conners is exquisite in their seasonings & avoids this error in all our dishes . My wife had an equally OUTSTANDING, and a BOUNTIFUL portion of CAJUN GROUPER, again perfectly spiced , not overly “cajunized”, with “Al Dente” perfectly cooked broccoli, and savory mixed rice. Our fourth diner had the tender, delicious sirloin. Even though not a high priced tenderloin or ribeye, it was so tender & flavorful, I dare say it would put any other sirloin in town to shame. The four of us shared the strawberry shortcake desert which was simply AMAZING! Poppy, our server, was polished and downright PERFECT herself. NOT hovering over you constantly, and asking all the time, “How is everything?” Instead, she was always there when you needed her, and left us alone to thoroughly enjoy our meal when we didn’t…downright ZEN-Like! Give her a raise or promotion because, frankly she was THAT good! And then, if that wasn’t enough, Poppy gave my wife & I a cute, apparently, partially hand-designed “Happy Anniversary” card signed by her & about four other servers. NEVER had THAT happen in all my years of dining out for special occasions! After one of the BEST meals & dining experiences in YEARS, Conners earned my HIGHEST, rarely given, 5 STAR RECOMMENDATION! You will be DELIGHTED!

   Food excellent as usual; good recipes, well prepared. Good service, as usual. All service people are very good at their jobs. But the noise level! It gets too loud and interferes with experience. Connors management, can we not find some way to reduce the noise level when the restaurant is full? We've had large parties of 10-12 seated next to us after we were seated, and it gets so noisy we can hardly carry on a conversation across our own table. Looking around, there are hard surfaces everywhere: metal art on the walls in the booths, glass partitions, stone on the walls. It just gets too loud to be enjoyable. Some sound absorbing material would surely help. Is there some noise cancellation technology that could be deployed? We've been coming to Connors for years, but now have to adjust our schedule to much earlier dinner to get in and out before the noise level peaks. Overall, it's one of the best restaurants in Knoxville for food quality and service, but ambiance, i.e. noise, could be improved.
