Copley’s is an award-winning restaurant serving American cuisine infused with hints of tropical and European flavors. Located in part of the former Cary Grant estate in the heart of Palm Springs, guests experience an upscale and inviting dining experience either outside on the patio with stunning mountain views or by enjoying the friendly atmosphere indoors. Executive Chef Andrew Copley has an extensive 20-year culinary background at five-star restaurants and hotels across the world, and is well known for innovative dishes such as Asian Spiced Barramundi, Charred Berkshire Pork Chop and creative nightly specials.                                           We enjoyed a celebratory evening out at Copley's with friends at this historic Palm Springs property (former home of Cary Grant). The host was tepid in his greeting and could not articulate anything about the provenance of the property. He abruptly cut off the customary welcome banter and left. Our server was warm and friendly by contrast. Food tasted good but presentation suffered with the chef's penchant for creating large mounds of food in the center of plates. We ordered the salmon, ahi special, pork chop and chicken schnitzel. The wine and cocktail list had a variety selections to pair. Dessert was unremarkable but edible - a toffee bread pudding was split by the table at the suggestion of our server. The tiny portion allowed each of us two precious bites. There were a number of dropped dishes at various times during service and at one point, our table's view of the patio was blocked by the rear ends of two staff having a 5-minute conversation in our window. The house was not full as in the past. Wonder if this restaurant has recently changed ownership and new management is overwhelmed. Check was roughly $500 with gratuity.

                                          My wife and I dine here every year with our two well behaved pups who love the patio accommodations. Our dinner was leasurely with a nice bottle of Realm we bought in. Their featured short rib was a great choice. Wifey was not too thrilled with her berkshire pork chop but everything else was top notch flavorful. Our server Eric was great too!

                                          This was our first visit to Copley’s and certainly won’t be our last. We went for my birthday dinner and everything was top notch. Our waiter Loni was exceptional. This was a 5 star evening.

                                          Great service and wonderful atmosphere as always, but this time the food just wasn’t as good as in the past. I wouldn’t get the ahi tacos or the NY steak again.

                                          Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, vor allem im patio ist es sehr romantisch und angenehm gestaltet. Auch können große Gruppen von 10 Personen an einem Tisch sein . Das Essen ist ok aber nicht überragend. Die French onion Suppe war mit stärke gebunden ! Die Ente war saftig aber die Beilagen waren zu roh und die Kartoffeln nicht zu essen! Der Kellner war das Beste, freundlich , schnell und den Gästen zugewandt.

                                          Very disappointed as we indicated it was very special birthday and yet all they could do was say happy birthday- not one offer of a free drink or small desert or even a piece of chocolate etc ?! What’s the point of asking then
