Owing to the success of the Cornstore Wine Bar & Restaurant Cork, a sister restaurant was opened in Limerick in November 2008, situated on the newly refurbished and pedestrianised street, Thomas Street.

The concepts boasts 3 floors offering a lively, buzzy, Manhattan style surrounding, including private dining and contemporary heated smoking area. The interior is mirrored to match the stylish elegance of its sister restaurant in Cork with intricate floor tiling, pewter style bar, cosy booths and intimate lighting.

Like Cork, the menu consists of premium steaks and quality seafood, an extensive drinks list with cocktails, new world beers and a vast wine list.
Both Cornstore buildings were selected because of their historic presence and the belief that the old and new can be successfully combined to create an old style feel with a modern ambiance.

    The food was amazing, I had lobster rolls for starters, bit over priced but tasted amazing so worth it almost, had ribeye steak for mains, got it med well and was so tasty, my son had bbq chicken wings, very tasty, husband had burger and beef dripping chips, all very tasty, the cocktails are all amazing, i had the firey passion marguerita, so delicious , but what really outshines most with this restaurant always is the staff, the staff are the most professional and kjndest smiling staff I've ever seen in a restaurant, they are a huge credit to this restaurant, thank you all for a lovely evening. The best restaurant in limerick city by far, we come here alot for special occasions throughout the year.

    We a family of 5 (kids are 6,3,2) had a lovely meal at the cornstore this afternoon. We had originally booked for later in the evening but came early as the weather was getting worse. We were accommodated at the earlier time without any fuss. The meal itself was excellent. The kids had the burgers and chips which were all eaten . My wife and I both had the rib eye steaks which were perfectly cooked (medium rare) and delicious. My only minor complaint was that their was no potatoes or chips included with the main dish but this was clearly explained by the waitress when ordering. Overall a good experience.

    A lovely experience in the Cornstore ,Limerick . We had a reservation, were greeted at the door and brought immediately to our table . The restaurant was warm and comfortable, a really good atmosphere as it was busy with other diners , but not loud or noisy . Our waitress was excellent, she was friendly and professional and familiar with the menu . She was efficient and checked on us intermittently in case we needed anything . The food was delicious, it was not cheap but the prices were what you would expect for the whole experience. I would definitely recommend and we will go again .

    Haven't been here in a while as we got fed up with the same menu over the years. However, we got a present of a Dinner Voucher for there, so we came back to try it again. Wow! the Menu has changed and it features a new few things that we tried. The Starters of Prawn Pil Pil and the French Onion Soup were very good, I must say. We both had the Beef Bourguignon, which was to die for. It was more like Short Rib of Beef (without the bone), but the meat was so tender and melted in your mouth. The Sauce with it was really yummy. For Desert, we shared a Cheeseboard, which was also good. Service was good and pleasant. Could not fault the place. We will be back.

    Absolutely fab 👌 had a fantastic meal and the staff were amazing. Will definitely be going back. The manager made mine and my friends night he was brilliant.

    We are visiting Limerick for the weekend and we were recommended to visit here and we were not disappointed- food was absolutely delicious and we had the works, starter, main and dessert - highly recommended

    Food was a bit expensive but we didn't mind paying for the great quality and tasting dishes. Service was excellent and timely, couldn't fault it, would definitely recommend and hopefully will be able to visit again soon

    Amazing food, everything was 10/10. Only Guinness wasn’t great. However, everything else was incredible. Would recommend to anyone.
