CUCINA enoteca is centrally located in the Irvine Spectrum! Owner Tracy Borkum's flair for combining great ambience, award-winning cuisine and unparalleled service are once again starring components in this latest Urban Kitchen Group creation. Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de Cuisine Cesar Sarmiento bring their artistry to the table as guests enjoy an open kitchen. The menu features Italian classics with a modern twist, made with the freshest local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Along with a diverse selection of wines by the glass, guests may visit the restaurant's retail area to select from over 200 bottles for dinner (corkage fee of $10 applies) or purchase wine to go. The energetic space features contemporary elements and vintage artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen combined with the comfort of an old rustic farmhouse.

    It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I was pleasantly surprised they now have house-made pasta, prepared perfectly Al dente too. Squid ink pasta and short rib pasta are the go-to’s. Prior experience with their bolognese made me not want to come back because it’s really hard to mess up bolognese. I think you just have to know what to order. Italian chopped salad also another great one to try.

    I went yo an early dinner with 5 friends. The food, service, and experience were all great. Shout out to the manager for being so welcoming and taking the time to thank us for coming in.

    We loved our pizzas: mushroom and goat cheese for the healthy couple and the fennel sausage one for us. Even the Italian chopped salad was perfect. Tiramisu was to die for. And we were lucky to have Matthew as our waiter, he recommended a delicious Carmenere and was super attentive. I am definitely coming back to this restaurant.

    We ordered appetizers to share and asked that we split an entree. When it arrived they refused to split the plate saying the chef didn’t do that. Weird.

    We sat on the pizza side. We really enjoyed our experience here. Never been before but wouldn’t hesitate to return. Lovely ambience and staff. Great pizza and calamari

    Excellent food and service. Very personal touch from waiter and manager. Been to Newport Beach location many times. Both good, Irvine is more customer centered.
