CUCINA enoteca is located on the west side of Fashion Island, Orange County's most sophisticated retail experience. Owner Tracy Borkum's flair for combining great ambience, award-winning cuisine and unparalleled service are once again starring components in this latest Urban Kitchen Group creation. Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de Cuisine Cesar Sarmiento bring their artistry to the table as guests enjoy an open kitchen. The menu features Italian classics with a modern twist, made with the freshest local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Along with a diverse selection of wines by the glass, guests may visit the restaurant's retail area to select from over 200 bottles for dinner (corkage fee of $10 applies) or purchase wine to go. The energetic space features contemporary elements and vintage artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen combined with the comfort of a rustic farmhouse.

    Although it was a very busy night, I noticed many tables were receiving their food after long periods of time, the wait for the main course was almost 45 minutes. The food was okay, but not worth the price tag. The Shirt rib was very lackluster and both appetizers were quite small. The saving grace was the dessert, although the Pavlova was quite sweet. Overall probably would not come again.

    Wonderful! A few valentines touches would have elevated the experience but otherwise! Great meal' attentive wait staff! Will be back!

    They need to add more food to their menu. It is not acceptable to have an italian restaurant not to have pesto or alfredo pasta. Quality of food was fantastic.

    Dogs in the restaurant! Including sitting on a man’s lap, seated at the bar, a medium size dog.  The other dog, a little later in the evening, is content with standing on the floor, sniffing around and licking all the furniture.  That’s appetizing!

    The new dishes on the menu are delicious! Especially, the chicken, branzino and the pear with buffalo mozzarella cheese salad! Yum, yum, yum!

    We had a wonderful time as always at CUCINA enoteca! The ambiance is very romantic and food can't be beat. We can't wait to return.
