Our $89 prix fixe tea service is offered Tuesday through Sunday.Lady Mendl's is an unconventionally chic tea salon housed within a Georgian brownstone in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. An opulent five-course tea is served in an eclectic and whimsical parlor by a doting staff. Patrons sip tea from hand culled vintage Wedgwood teacups as they nibble dainty finger sandwiches and house baked scones. Please note that our entrance is only accessible via a staircase of 10 steps. We do not have an elevator.

AnnTremet Cake is a bakery aside at the north end of West Village, close to Chelsea Market. We specialize in mirror glaze mousse cakes, but also offer a variety of other desserts and pastries.     I have wanted to come to Lady Mendls for some time and today was the day! Yowza was it fabulous. The potato leek soup and the way in which it was presented was memorable. Still thinking about it. The sandwiches were both classic and modern and beautifully arranged. Scones and petit fours capped off the perfect tea. Deeelish! The tea selection and decision was difficult because they all sounded so good. Went with the Wonderland Roobios. So good. The staff is fabulous and attention to detail is both welcomed and impressive. Love the fun decor. Go. You will have a delightful and memorable time.

    We went to The Palm Court Restaurant for dinner. We came from Miami to celebrate our daughter's sixteenth birthday. Our server Mohamed Jabari made our experience special. He warmly welcomed our daughters, especially the youngest (11 years old) he clearly explained the story of Eloise and presented the girls with pink napkins! He recommended a champagne that was "magnifique". Small details that turned into great memories for our family at The Plaza Hotel. Thanks again Mohammed! We would love to return! I highly recommend it.

    Lovely afternoon tea in a fabulous hotel - we loved it! Annie, our waitress, was absolutely lovely, warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The two ladies who greeted us on arrival for the afternoon tea were less friendly and welcoming. Lovely food though - well done Whitby!
