The Manor’s Restaurant serves rustic fare in an elegant setting with a focus on homemade, comforting cooking. Our chef sources the very best ingredients to create a dining experience that won’t disappoint. We offer a varied menu which can be enjoyed in our dining room or on the terrace on sunny days. Our wine list, supplied by Solent Cellar in Lymington, features an excellent range of both Old World and New World Wines with classic favourites as well as interesting surprises. The bar serves favourite local ales, premium lager and an excellent selection of imported beers, spirits and features a list of classic cocktails all made from scratch. We also offer full Afternoon Tea with homemade scones and a creative assortment of treats and sandwiches, all of which can be enjoyed in our drawing room or on warmer days overlooking the garden.Our Dining Room is the perfect place for groups and large tables also.     My girlfriend and I went in a date here last night and it was incredible, the drinks were amazing and the waiting and bar staff were all happy for a chat and really seemed to love what they do. If I was to say anything negative it was that the live music made it difficult to have a conversation with my girlfriend sat 2 feet away and as such we had to leave before the 2nd group started rather than stay for more drinks. Other than that, we were each given a glass of Prosecco for the occasion of our date which we really appreciated and we will definitely come back soon

    We visited Careys Manor for Dinner at Zen Garden for my Husbands birthday. We were greeted by a very friendly man, who wished my Husband a ‘happy birthday’ on arrival, we were then given the choice of tables where we would like to sit. Complimentary prawn crackers are given per table. Great selection of food on menu. We went for Sea Bass starter & Lamb Shank main. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. My husband was treated to a complimentary Sorbert with a candle for his birthday which was a lovely touch. Overall 10/10, will be returning

    Great meal in lovely location. Restaurant elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu not large but had a good varied choice. Food well cooked and beautifully presented. Reasonably priced. Only criticism would be the lack of vegetables with the meal - they were more of a garnish. Would have liked a side dish of veg especially as the meat portions were quite large. Would definitely recommend.
