For those who love their afternoon teas fresh, fragrant and steeped in history, Palm Court at The Drake Hotel serving tea for over a century. Even the Queen and Princess Diana have made their royal visits here. Your afternoon tea begins with Palais de Thes menu, which features 15 tea blends including classic selections like the English Breakfast to modern yet delightful twists like the Mélange du Cap.Tea is served in individual tea pots accompanied by the traditional three tiered tea tray filled with an arrangement of gourmet finger sandwiches and scones; and dainty petit fours with complements of preserves, lemon curd and English double Devon cream.And let’s not forget about our little tea. The Prince & Princess Afternoon tea service, suitable for children between 3 and 12 years of age is available throughout the duration of afternoon tea service.Reservations are heavily encouraged. Walk-ins are always encouraged, with reservations taken only for Boozy Tea. With interiors designed by world-renowned design firm Studio Munge, the sophisticated lounge is tucked behind heavy floor-to-ceiling drapery and boasts a dark and moody atmosphere with custom leather sofas, vintage rugs, cozy banquettes and a curated art collection. We like to say that we are International Vegan Restaurant. That means our food is 100% plant based and Globally Inspired. We have a few American classics like homemade veggie burgers, mac and cheese and of course Nachos. However, we also have plenty of healthy options. Our Kitchen Manager specializes in creating comfort dishes from different cultures by making food that is hearty and flavorful, but still healthy. Many food items will have a focus on plants, rather than trying to mimic meat. Reading our menu is like traveling the globe with the different options we will have. Have a taste of Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Italy, Balkans and so much more! Brunch Menu is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We were nominited for the best brunch in the country by VegOut Magazine and our soup was nominated as Best Soup of Chicago. We won Best Patio 2020 by North Commision. Can't wait to welcome you.

    Very lovely tea service but a bit pricy for what you get. I wish they would make the teas from loose leaf and more finger sandwiches.

    We had Afternoon Tea for Valentine's Day for $78 per person. Very reasonable prize for Chicago and for the amount and quality of food served. Tea variety on the menu was great. Items on the trays were very good and very filling. Most people cannot finish it all. We were offered tea and food refills which is rare when having afternoon tea anywhere so it was a nice gesture from The Drake Palm Court. Our server Azmir was super friendly and courteous and did a great job. The Palm Court hostess at the entrance was very kind and friendly, sitting us on our desired table, previously requested in the reservation. This place is a Chicago classic and noise level is high since it is always packed. We highly recommend the Palm Court not only for Afternoon Tea but for lively dinners.

    My wife and I, celebrated Valentine's Day at the lovely Fire Lake Grill House & Cocktail Bar. The food, service (waiter and management), ambience, and live entertainment (Friday Night) were all on point and appreciated. We are looking forward to renting the upstairs for an upcoming event. My wife enjoyed the the restaurant so much. Thank you
