Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality.     Service - Excellent - we sat in bar area - it was less noisy in this area - took our teenagers who loved it too! Happy Hour menu so good! recommend lobster corndogs, guiltless cheesysticks, tenderloin toast Married couple split 14oz sirloin with two sides brussel sprouts and truffle fries - so delish! Teens got burgers - both loved! They even gave us a free birthday desert!

A surprise visit from Santa Claus added an extra touch of magic to our evening, making it truly unforgettable. The holiday atmosphere was enchanting, and then there was the food... 😋🥩 From a mouthwatering pork chop medley to steaks that were downright criminal in their deliciousness, every dish was a masterpiece.     I had a great experience! The wait staff were friendly and personable. The food was cooked well (we had the Korean Fried Chicken and the Burger). The ambiance is creatively corky and the patio is nice and with a slight tinge of romance is you sit in the farthest section of the patio. I will definitely go again.
