We went the day after Valentine’s Day and requested a booth upstairs. We were seated immediately (we did have a reservation) where we requested. They were still offering VD specials which we chose from. I ordered the half slab of rib dinner, included a half slab of fall off the bone ribs, cole slaw, and crispy delicious French fries ($24). My husband had the bang bang shrimp ($18) which came with 12 medium shrimp in a not too spicy sauce. Also, very good! We ordered a Caesar salad that was probably enough for 4 people. Overall, the service, food and atmosphere were excellent! Will definitely be back!

Valentine's Day was a fantastic experience and a time was had! Here at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails black owned, definitely had to show some love for Black History Month. The decorations displayed for Valentines at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails were too cute. The decorations added such a lovely touch. The music was perfect. The DJ understood the assignment and the mood just right! Perfect tunes from the time reservations @530pm with 90mins max at a table till we left. Ordered the catfish dinner with red beans and rice along with the Mac and cheese and the second entree were the grilled pork chops dinner with cabbage and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted as good as the neat presentation. The food was very scrumptious! The chops were mouth-watering a must TRY! All the ingredients were fresh and everything was HOTT! And a cheese cake also came with the speciality dinner. No complaints there. Didn't take long for our meal to be prepared. Our waitress named was Jay. She was so sweet and attentive. And thoroughly knew the menu. Even took a pic of my family for me. The atmosphere was so inviting with such kindness from the staff. Glad we celebrated here at Bea's Kitchen & Kocktails! . Maple Tree Inn is a very nice place to eat, my husband is from New Orleans and said the food was very good. He wasn't fond of the red beans & rice(too much rice ,not enough beans and sauce) but he enjoyed the seafood gumbo. The Pecan Crusted Crab cake was delicious and meaty. We both had the Jambalaya and it was fantastic. We were there celebrating our anniversary and they gave us complimentary beignets for dessert. My only slight complaint was that it was a bit chilly in the restaurant when we first arrived but as the place filled up it felt better. It was a great anniversary.

Wonderful experience tonight at Coopers Hawk in Schererville. Definitely will go back. Prices were good for the portion size, but I wish they would have given more bread for the whipped Salmon spread. My wife had the skirt steak and I had the medallions. Perfection!

My wife and I had a great time. Tons of laughs and good memories. I just wish we had just as much fun at Jimmy’s Strip club. That place turned for the worst. I’d recommend going to the Castle for this special event any year.
