A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our boat launch is located at Slip 29, behind the Opal Key Resort, 245 Front St. Your reservation time is your departure time, please arrive 8-10 minutes prior to check in. Due to limited indoor seating, reservations MAY NOT be guaranteed in case of inclement weather. You are not permitted to board the ferry prior to your reservation time.Advance reservations are required. The thing I love about La Te Da is it’s always reliably good. Faces change on occasion, but the culture doesn’t. Kudos to management for keeping the good times rolling! The food is delicious prepared with a creative flair. Special occasion cocktails are unique. This restaurant is a must-try if you are new to Kew West.

We’ve dined at Bagatelle on Christmas Eve since 1990, only missing a few years when we were out of town. It’s consistently good: food, service, atmosphere. Bagatelle receives my highest recommendation.

Dined here on Christmas Eve where they had a set menu for the evening. This is typically not my favorite offering, however each dish was exquisitely presented and offered spectacular flavors. We shared each other’s selections, so were able to experience quite an offering! Kudos to the chef!! We had bar seat reservations and were very pleased with both the service and ambiance. We were just visiting for the holiday, but would definitely seek this restaurant out on a return trip.
