Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household. Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smoker has been imported from the USA and is built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 16 hours.

The festivals were out of this world. They were soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside dusted with it tasted like cinnamon sugar and coconut. The sauce dip that came with it was also delicious not to peppery just right for someone who doesn't like pepper. I then had the crispy mushroom which came with mashed potatoe with peas soup on top and cabbage and a sauce on the side. It was delicious. I had the sorrel cocktail which was nice but I felt it was too sweet. All in all it was a great venue for myself and my son. I am still thinking about those festivals yummy. I will definitely return and recommend to others.

Fantastic night out. It was a birthday celebration and we were treated fabulously by the staff. Could not have asked for more. Music was great, room to dance. We would definitely come back next time we are in London.
