Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. From 3 November, Lutyens Grill will open on Sundays with our unlimited prime rib set menu accompanied with all the roast dinner trimmings.Please be advised bookings are for dinner guest only. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smoker has been imported from the USA and is built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 16 hours.

Goodman specialises in steak. Great place for a good steak. It doesn’t come cheap but you are promised good value for the money. I had a medium rare ribeye which was succulent and incredibly delicious. Service was faultless. Energetic vibe and a tad noisy but everyone was having a good time. It’s Christmas ! I’m told the beef wellington comes highly recommended! I am definitely coming back.

Lovely restaurant with fabulous views. Waiter was super-helpful with my gluten intolerance choices and I am always so relived to see my plates coming out with a sticker so I know that they have been checked for gluten. I have been in here before when a DJ and saxophonist have been playing which is unbearable for a restaurant experience but thankfully the music level was much better tonight.

Service was attentive, server was knowledgeable and friendly. Steak was delicious, however the fillet side of the porterhouse was a little over, not easy I know but not unreasonable at a top steak restaurant
