Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old-school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere. On Fridays there will be a £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley. From 3 November, Lutyens Grill will open on Sundays with our unlimited prime rib set menu accompanied with all the roast dinner trimmings.Please be advised bookings are for dinner guest only. Pets, other than registered guide dogs, are not permitted in any public area or restaurant at The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant until 8pm Monday-Saturday. We will try to accommodate pushchairs, but please be aware there may not be space at the table. Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead of or upon arrival.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR HEATED AND COVERED TERRACE FOR GROUPS FROM MULTIPLE HOUSEHOLDSBarbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smoker has been imported from the USA and is built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 16 hours.

Goodman specialises in steak. Our chefs source the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic – from USDA corn-fed herds to grass-fed Scottish beef, grain-fed Irish Angus and rare breed Belted Galloway from Devon – to present a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill. All of our meat is matured on-site – you can see it for yourself in our glass-walled dry-ageing room – then we cook it over charcoal for a fabulously smoky flavour.     My dining experience was amazing. They were so accommodating bc my daughter has food allergies. The service was outstanding as well as the hospitality. They went over and beyond. We had an epic time celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday.

    Have been visiting Red Dog at Hoxton square since they launched, but we had a long hiatus since 2020 (boo-hiss). Me and 4 mates, all BBQ lovers with an assortment of eggs and offsets to smoke at home came for a catch up. Buffalo wings have always been a stalwart starter at RD, the burned end nuggets are an amazing addition to the menu, and the sausage platter all went down well; great spice levels in the morcilla. Shared a platter and some full cuts for mains; brisket was excellent, other cuts great, pork ribs were the only slight let down without much flavour- sauce to the rescue. Great service from our lovely waitress who had to put up with our table's antics, all in all glad to be back to a great venue with some great meat dishes.

    Service was attentive, server was knowledgeable and friendly. Steak was delicious, however the fillet side of the porterhouse was a little over, not easy I know but not unreasonable at a top steak restaurant
