The Ivy at the Shore is a true gem in Santa Monica, offering an unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful decor and ocean views that set the perfect tone for a leisurely meal. The standout dish for me was the Stone Crab. Perfectly chilled and served with a tangy mustard sauce, the crab was incredibly fresh and flavorful, highlighting the restaurant’s dedication to quality seafood. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring every detail was just right. The Ivy at the Shore is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine and a delightful atmosphere.

Had a really nice lunch/brunch in the pretty re-decorated front room. Burger was delish! Service was good but we were a bit put off by the following two thongs: 1- Fresh bread (which was very good) was $9.00! And we were not told that there was a charge for bread. 2- They added a $6.00 “hospitality charge” for the health care of their employees. It felt wrong to charge without first advising us of the charge. They did remove that though. Note that a nice touch is that if you park in the back, they validate parking for 90 minutes. We loved the food though!
