Amazing atmosphere, beautiful decor for pictures. The food is amazing, just as great as North Carolina cooking. The Mac & cheese is straight out of Thanks giving. The drinks are nice and strong too! Most try the spinach dip, the chips are fluffy and amazing!

Dining at The Blackwall Barn and Lodge was a very nice experience. The service was wonderful. Our server was very welcoming and kind. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. We enjoyed the red snapper and pesto pasta (both were specialty entrees). We look forward to returning to this restaurant.

We went on a less busy night and enjoyed a leisurely dinner catching up. Our waiter, Brandon, did a wonderful job checking on us at just the right times. We never felt rushed or urged to leave when it was clear our meal was over. The manager, Jason, checked on us to insure our meal met our expectations. The bacon on the grilled chicken club was the best part—a delicious sweet & spicy glaze. A surprise coupon for a discounted appetizer was presented at the end of our meal (we celebrated my birthday). Looking forward to our next visit.

Scott was our waiter and he was professional, delightful and wonderful. A lovely evening in all ways.

It was Valentine's Day, so very crowded. Luckily, we had a reservation. Seated right away. The service was excellent. Food took a while to come out because the place was packed. Food tasted great. Steak cooked to perfection. Excellent dining.
