It's always a pleasure to dine at Ember & Elm. The food is wonderful and the excellent staff help make breakfast and dinner a five star experience. This visit, we enjoyed being attended by Blakelyn and Crystal, both unflappable, professional, gracious servers, as is everyone at Ember & Elm. We had delicious, chef-created (gluten-free and vegan!) meals in a fun and friendly space. The kids safely played corn hole just outside the door while the grown ups enjoyed appetizers and conversation before our main meal. You will love it! Be sure to ask for suggestions if you have dietary restrictions. The menu, including drinks and mocktails, changes seasonally.

Tonight’s Thursday Night Italian-themed buffet was “molto delizioso!” Our server, Shannon, was excellent, and the restaurant’s decor and ambiance were delightful. The Best Family loves it and cannot wait to return for another wonderful dining experience!

It was delicious but very expensive. For the price we paid it should have been the best meal of my life. We got crab legs and they were good but they could have been better for $90. I’ll be back but not for the crab. The peel and eat shrimp were really good.

Our experience was great other than a couple of minor incidents. I want to especially compliment the host who helped me with my reservation tonight. I had seen on reviews on open table that a large party had complained that they were split up into two tables instead of one table; since our group was a book club and we wanted to a.) talk about the book we read and b.) we can get kinda loud and boisterous, I wanted to manage expectations and see if we could sit at a big table together instead. They definitely did great and accommodated us! I was very thankful and our server did a great job and was so so so nice! The food and music was mostly great! It got a little loud at times but there’s a good chance that they were drowning out our silly conversation. The only constructive criticism I have is that the manager that the host called over to talk about my reservation did not even acknowledge me even though I was trying to express my gratitude for his help. That was a little disappointing, though perhaps he was busy. Also while everything else in my steak bowl was delicious, the steak was a little tough. Flavor was great though! Thanks for a great night. We had a good time.

Prime rib was great. Smoked chicken left a lot to be desired. Was rubbery like it had been heated in a microwave.
