Originally a historic US Coast Guard Station built in 1888 by famed architects McKim, Mead & White, now a spectacularly located waterfront restaurant overlooking Narragansett Bay. Offering an array of creative dishes from lobster & sweet corn tamale, lobster ravioli, grilled swordfish, lobster mac & cheese, & organic chicken; we supporting all aspects of sustainable agriculture and aquaculture. We use local farms when possible and source produce for quality and sustainability. Our seafood is sourced from purveyors that are dedicated to locating species from areas that produce the best tasting and highest quality seafood available.

Dine in one of our custom designed Igloos By the Sea at The Coast Guard House. There is an igloo rental fee for $100 for three hours. Each igloo is outfitted with a Bluetooth speaker, fireplace and heater. However, we do recommend dressing warmly and/or in layers. Our full menu is available for your enjoyment. We can not guarantee any specific igloo. Igloo reservations can be cancelled in inclement weather. There is a credit hold for $20 per person to complete your reservation. Your card will only be charged if you cancel a week or less or do not honor your reservation.

Lunch and dinner are served daily in the restaurant, as well as at the Terrace Bar. By booking online, you have the option to reserve an indoor or an outdoor table. Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed.     Cozy well-preserved historic building creates warm inviting atmosphere. Beef Wellington was delicious! Our waiter was very friendly and service was great. We had a great evening.

    I booked a table for my wife's birthday. The place was very busy, but the staff made us feel very welcome. When we sat at our table there was a happy birthday card signed by all the staff, which was such a great touch to the dinning experience. The staff were amazing and super friendly and they knew that someone at the table had a birthday! When it comes to the cocktails and the food, everything was outstanding and priced at great prices! We would 10/10 visit again and again!

    WONDERFUL!!! Everything was phenomenal! Our party enjoyed the drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert. The bread pudding is amazing! It was my personal favorite. The real winners at the Coast Guard House are the staff. They are absolutely the best. They are so friendly and fun. Charissa (sp?) and Erin are the reasons we will go back time and again! Heck, we are going back for a third night in a row! Each igloo has a different theme to make the experience unique. I recommend getting there before sunset to take in the scenery in day and night. All igloo are right on the water.
