We cannot wait to have you come to our flagship location's official launch in Maryland!Reservations - Parties of six or less can make reservations on our website with a credit card. We do not accept reservations over the phone. Parties larger than six are considered "private events"; inquiries can be forwarded to info@hunchohouse.com for further details. Chef's Table (counter seating) is based on availability for an additional $100.00 per person.Cancelation/no-show policy: Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours prior to the reservation without penalty. Late arrivals past 15 minutes are considered a no-show. There will be $35 per person fee for all cancellations/no-shows based on this disclosed policy.

We are a Laotian restaurant in the heart of the neighborhood of Shaw. Baan Mae means Mom's house in Laotian. Chef Seng of Thip Khao and Padaek is serving up dishes reminiscent of her home kitchen and her mother's kitchen. Mom's House Reservation Policy:All reservations are allowed a 15-minute grace period. All parties must be present at the restaurant to be seated. If parties are incomplete by the end of the 15-minute grace period, the reservation may be moved to the waitlist upon the completion of the party.Reservation wait times may be impacted in the case of rain or heat advisory as we will do our best to accommodate patio reservations indoors.Due to our limited seating capacity, all reservations are limited to a maximum of 90-minute seating time and 2 hours for large parties of 5+.Please contact us for for reservations for parties of 5+.

Chaplin's Restaurant & Bar is a 1930's style Japanese Ramen House and cocktail bar. Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. Myo received a blessing from his mentor in Japan after nearly 30 years of cooking in Japan, to come to America and continue to showcase his authentic Ramen and traditional Japanese cuisine. Chaplin's Restaurant demonstrates the aesthetic of a bustling ramen house in Japan in the 1930's silent film era. There is also a large outdoor dining area that is dog friendly. Chaplin's is located in the heart of the Historic Shaw neighborhood. And it is open until last call 7 days a week. Chaplin's received a Plate certification in the Michelin Guide in 2020.     The experience at Sushi by Bou was unbelievable! Every member of the staff treated us like we were their personal guests, and the food was AMAZING! The night is a little expensive, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny! We can’t wait to return!

    The miso ramen and stamina spicy were excellent! We also got the whiskey infused dumplings and the flavors were phenomenal. If you like spicy, ask for the spice bomb to be added to your ramen, it’s got the perfect ghost pepper kick!

    From the point of arrival throughout the entire dining experience, everything was perfect! The House manager sat us promptly and offered complimentary champagne. The food was amazing, and our waitress was awesome- she was professional, knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and was attentive throughout the evening. We tried 4 different appetizers and different entrees. Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance with music in the background made it a great experience! A $600+ bill- would gladly do it again! You definitely get what you pay for here.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our time enjoying all the food. We appreciate the receptionist who went the extra mile to find a better table for us to accommodate my daughter who has special needs and couldn’t fit in a high chair anymore. It’s our second time and we look forward to our next delicious meal here again!

    Another excellent experience. We had someone in our group that is gluten free. Staff did a great job answering questions and verifying the GF process. Pad see ew was excellent. Skewers were a hit, we had a variety of chicken, shrimp, and pork belly. Great spot at The Wharf before the theater.
