In the Royal Lancaster Hotel, the Nipa Thai restaurant has been named after the original Nipa Restaurant in the Landmark Hotel in Bangkok. Lots of teak panelling, traditional Thai furnishings and artefacts lend an authentic air. All the staff dressed in traditional Thai costume are from Thailand - even the lady chefs. This authentic Thai restaurant is one of the first 15 recipients of the 'Thai Select' award - this award has been described as being the first ever Michelin-style award for Thai restaurants proven to be performing to the highest standards of quality and cuisine, and is awarded by the Thai Government. We think this award sums up Nipa Thai rather nicely. What's cooking? This is the second time I have attend ULI but the first in this venue. Just like the Notting Hill branch the staff was attentive and welcoming. The food was once again wonderful. Highly recommend.

We had the best time, staff so attentive and delicious Korean food! We had a mixture of meats for the bbq as well as Korean friend chicken, kimchi pancakes and seaweed salad- incredible! Our Xmas lunch!!
