Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations.     We had a really nice meal. The staff were very helpful. The music was loud and as a result the guest had to speak a little louder, therefore causing us to not hear us or the waitress at time.

    It was a Miami scene. Energetic. Fun. Drinks were inventive. Great wine list. Interesting bites and main courses. Bluefish with truffles. Waygu with caviar. Carrots with pistachio. Branzino with artichoke hearts. Yummy. Pricey.

    The food and drinks were truly incredible, and the energy in the restaurant was amazing. We sat outside and there were dancers throughout the night which was a really cool entertainment experience. My one annoyance was the overall service level. I don’t know if they were understaffed, or over busy, but it was just very slow. Definitely don’t want to be rushed - but we waited a longggg time to do anything, and then had a drink not show up until we asked for it 3 times. So, that was a small damper. Overall, this place was amazing. Definitely recommend it and would love to come back.
