We had the Duck Ramen and the Katsu Curry to eat, both were excellent. The sake flight and fresh juices were very good as well. I was disappointed that the flower room upstairs wasn't open because it's so beautiful, but the food more than made up for the seating arrangement.

It was wow from the moment we stepped into this gem . The hostess welcoming , tables and booths set up for comfortable conversations and enjoy suberb take on Cantonese cuisine

All around amazing experience! Only 2 small complaints: they took my drink away before i wash finished (but then took it off the bill), & the chef, who was sooo talented, was inaudible even after I said “What?” Like 3 times, so I had no idea what I was eating. It was all delicious though and I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing experience! The server was kind and interacted with our family even though they were very busy. She offered her favorites on the menu and helped refill drinks for our kids without asking. She was speedy to deliver food and offered dessert menu. We just loved the Yuzu Kakigori - very fun and tasty! Positive vibes and memories for my family - just as we hoped!

Excellent as always. Falansai's full tasting menu, what's now called the 'Super' Dac Biet, has been a regular feature of our birthday/anniversary dinner rotation for years now (I maintain you're doing it wrong if you only order ala carte here) and it's always a blast. The team does an amazing job of making really high-end, inventive cooking feel fun and casual. I have to give a huge shout-out to the beverage program as well; Falansai's wine list might have the most reasonable prices of any decent restaurant in New York right now (a five-course wine pairing for $65 in this day and age is nuts) and there's always something interesting and unexpected on offer. Even the really baller bottles (which you might have to ask to see the reserve list to know about in the first place), which are often on par with the best wine you can buy anywhere in the city, are sold at astoundingly fair prices. Falansai is a gem of an increasingly rare breed in NYC.
