At least half of your party must be present to be seated. Parties who are running late should call the restaurant prior to your reservation time to ensure your reservation doesn't get canceled. There are no same day reservations on Friday and Saturdays. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel. “There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister,” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different.     The food was very good. The service was excellent!!! Ryann was an amazing server. Attentive, personable and efficient. Also, all the other servers who came by were great too. David, the manager, was so very kind to my kids. We hope to be back the next time we are in town.

    Loved the experience. Definitely will return. Food was very very tasty. I'd give food 4.5 stars if possible but because the shaky shaky beef was not as tender as everyone raved about, I gave 4 stars. Cocktails and papaya salad were superb.

    A last minute booking for an early Thanksgiving dinner for two revealed a culinary revelation. Within a smartly designed space tucked inside of the Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort this restaurant belongs among some of the very best in Southern California, if not the entire country. A prix fix Thanksgiving dinner complete with the usual suspects, Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc., is just not supposed to satisfy a discerning foodie on this level. The beautiful presentation (think Norman Rockwell) was exceeded by, to put it simply, perfect food, ably served by the charming staff. Congratulations and thanks for a great meal. We’ll be back.
