They are friendly and service is quick. They do engage in a bit of an up-sell (Michter’s Rye in my Manhattan), the large Sapporo, the premium version of a similar nigiri, but I was thoroughly pleased with my meal.

If you've been to Burma Love or Burma Superstar, Teakwood delivers on amazing Burmese food. The coconut rice and curry dish make for a winning combination; and you can never go wrong ordering the tea leaf salad, samusas and garlic noodles. While we were disappointed with the spring roll as the rice paper was noticeably hard like cardboard, we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the carmelized cabbage side dish turned out. Overall, the food, service and decor / ambiance make for a great dining experience.

Repeat customers back for another amazing experience. Service was great, they were very understanding of our nephew who needed a little TLC. Fish and food was awesome, menu expansive-- vegetarian in our party ate well. They even lined up a sake flight tasting for us! Neighborhood gem, highly recommended-- we'll be back thank you again!

Consistently good food with an ever changing menu but a very small overcouded restaurant with inconsistent service. and very high out the door price. An interesting alternative to Nopa but not as comfortable or reliable.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was really yummy!
