This was our first experience eating at Mahaniyom. It's been difficult to reserve a table. At 6:00 on a Wednesday it was packed and VERY noisy. Tables are close together. Staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu and portion size. For two of us, we ordered 4 dishes and it was plenty! The Brussel sprouts were our favorite followed by the Beef Massaman. Three of our 4 dishes were vegetarian, we ordered one cocktail and one beer and the bill was $86 without tip. So not a cheap night out but we did enjoy the food quite a bit! Might order takeout next time though.

We loved this place! Food, crowd, service and atmosphere. (E.g., The ceiling is lightly covered with tree branches populated with flowers and you could run a scavenger hunt in the place just searching out the cool details.) Before you go, take the time to check out their menu, a wonderful collection of disparate choices. We loved the place and it was a great place to eat (and have a drink) before going to the theatre at the Huntington Calderwood (same block.) If you're novel-food-timid, get help from the wait staff to pick out seductive dishes that will encourage you to be less timid in the future. And the drinks menu? Daring! Fun and worthy sharing with your dinner partner(s) who are 21 or over.

This was my first time going to The Q and it did not disappoint. The service and food were amazing. The house Sake is smooth and cost effective. The employees are so friendly and attentive. Overall the meal was less expensive than expected given the item’s ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

What an Amazing experience, could not tell you what was my favorite dish because I love EVERYTHING.

Excellent food, ambiance, service, the place is incredibly beautiful
