Bellarine Peninsula's Van Loon's is a favourite amongst locals, visitors and foodies for its modern and fresh take on Australian cuisine, served in its picturesque restaurant surroundings. The Leopold Sportsmans Club is located at the start of the Bellarine Peninsula. We are large family friendly venue with room for large groups, huge alfresco area over looking the bowling green, sports bar, function room, beer garden and a kids playground.Our club specialises in classic affordable bistro cuisine with specialty nights throughout the week such as Parmi night and Steak night. We have lunch and dinner seven days a week, with all-day dining over the weekend.We provide a selection of popular and local wines and beers as well as our team mixing up our signature cocktails.

    I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Shelanous is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable! We’ll definitely be back!

    Not my first high tea at Van Loons, but very impressed today. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, food delicious and cocktails and mock tails totally gorgeous. Although not the cheapest in town, we think it was value for money and a great afternoon celebrating a special birthday. Thank you again, it won’t be our last visit.

    I have had the privilege of eating at a few of the highest rated restaurants in the world. I have never had an experience like i had at Attica last night, it was beyond expectations. The ambience when you walk in is simple, elegant with a little bit of obscurity in the artwork to really make it pop. The service was beyond anything i have experienced in Melbourne it was attentive, polite and friendly, the front of house team want to be there and clearly love what they do and were also incredibly knowledgeable of the food they were serving, more so than most chefs. The food, THE FOOD! Everything was divine! Chefs are masters of flavour balance, every single little item was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was perfectly balanced. Big acid hits to delicate flavours and wonderful, adventurous new flavour profiles to try that just delight your tongue. I will end on the food with this. When a chef cooks you a dish that contains ants, that just might be one of the best things you have ever eaten in your life. It does tend to leave you a little speechless with what you think is possible with food. A particular highlight was the soba noodle prawn dish. I just want to say to the chefs that hands down was the most perfect balance of salt to acid ratio I've ever had and I'll be chasing that dragon for a long time to come. Thanks chefs Let's make no mistake, this is, an expensive experience, however a few things to consider. It takes a mountain of people to do this level of service and the quality of staff it requires for this level of perfection... is worth every cent! Do yourself a favour and and go and enjoy

    The vegetarian selection is still utterly rubbish. Why can’t there be one dish that’s actually not terrible or weird combinations. Also the slaw was pure mustard - the schnitzel was super crispy though
