In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. Tex-Mex cuisine began in the Rio Grande Valley before migrating up to San Antonio during the l860's where a group of women known as The Chili Queens' began to pop up in the city's plazas selling chili con carne with tamales, enchiladas, and chili verde. We love Jack’s. It’s true Texas barbque that always delivers. We tried the steaks and Cesar and they were delicious. We’ve also taken their smoking classes and they are well worth the time!

The Rodizio was rapid fire with selections coming just about every minute. Drinks were slower arriving, and a good experience overall.
