Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

I booked the Afternoon Tea in the pods as a surprise for my sisters for their Maid of Honour proposal and it was perfect! The service was brilliant and my requests were all fulfilled with such ease - it looked beautiful with the extra decor. Food was delicious and me and my sisters had a memorable, wholesome experience.. thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Catalina’s! The moment we arrived, we had a lovely welcome from Henni who talked us through both our menu and our dog’s menu. We always look out for dog-friendly restaurants, but this has been the best experience so far. Everything we ordered was really delicious! Even our dog enjoyed her meal. Shame we live so far. Catalina’s is the type of place where we could easily become regulars.

Went with a work team for dinner. Haven't had Georgian food and thought this would make a nice change. Very friendly place which helped us with suggestions, and we had a great time.
