A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt. Joe lives in Park Ridge, a few short miles from the restaurants, so expet to see him in both restaurants assuring a quality experience for his customers.     Had a great night at Americano! We were able to book a last minute table on Open Table and were also allowed to add one more when we arrived. All the staff were super friendly and helpful!! The restaurant has a great vibe and the food was delicious. The espresso martini's were good, but the wine list was a bit limited. Would definitely go back again!!

    Our experience at Aboyer was outstanding. Our waiter was aware of our time frame and frequently checked back with us to make sure we were within the required time frame. We purchased drinks, appetizers and desserts from the Happy Hour Menu. The food was excellent. We were seated in the private dining room. It is a beautiful space. We look forward to returning to Aboyer.

    We were a group of 6 attending for a birthday celebration. The food was good. WE had ordered salads and entrees to share and they all came at the same time. Would have liked the salads prior to the entrees and sides being served.
