Located within the historic grounds of the Guinness Storehouse, 1837 Bar & Brasserie celebrates the best of Ireland. Named after the year Guinness and oysters were named as the perfect match.With great views of Dublin city and a menu of classics - smoked salmon, oysters and a rather famous Guinness burger - along with likes of flatbreads, sharing plates and a Guinness chocolate mousse that playfully resembles a glass of the black stuff. My husband, daughter and I had a lovely lunch here today. My daughter wanted to taste the Soupe à L'Oignon and was not disappointed.. Lovely, tasty food and atmosphere with a French feel in a lovely cosy environment..would recommend

We had a lovely time in Old Fashioned Sam’s last night! The building doesn’t look very big from the outside but is very spacious and fabulously decorated inside. We ate in the restaurant section where the staff was incredible attentive and the ambiance created by the music and lighting was perfect for a Saturday evening dinner and drink. Highly recommend the food and drinks and hope that Sam’s will grow in popularity in the new year!
