Roly's Bistro first opened its doors in 1992 and has served traditional European cuisine ever since. Lunch is served in the Bistro on Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday lunch being served in The Terrace Restaurant. Dinner is served in the Bistro seven evenings a week. The menu caters for most palates with a Goat's cheese and vegetable tart and a selection of meat dishes from Roly's butcher block, such as sirloin steak and rib of prime Irish steak. Booked for dinner with some friends and thought it was more of a Gastro pub. Was very pleasantly surprised - the food was excellent. Great menu choice and really high quality. Decor was lovely and overall restaurant was very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Also liked that we could have dinner in the restaurant and then go downstairs for a drink afterwards, and the music was great in the bar.

Really Good brunch menu. Pancakes fab and served with plenty of crispy bacon. Waffle dish was a small portion - just the one small waffle. Excellent coffee. Excellent service. Dog friendly (on the covered terrace). The down side was that we were the only diners, so atmosphere was lacking. Very good value for money though
