This little haunt has been serving up rustic French cuisine to loyal regulars for over a decade, and this is still one of London’s favourite places for date nights and cosy pre-theatre meals. Part Provencal, part Art Nouveau, the dining room at Pierre Victoire is decorated with whitewashed walls, chalkboard menus, a vintage piano, eclectic artworks, untreated wooden floorboards and wine bottles stuffed with drippy candles, and the wholesome home-style cuisine and moreish wine is all delightfully affordable. Excellent service. We had a very short time to eat and they were very accommodating. They were also so helpful with all my allergies. Gluten free options provided. Highly recommend. Tasty food and good size portions.

Had my birthday dinner there. It was a lovely cozy restaurant with waitresses speaking to each other and in French which made me feel like I was on holiday! The food and service were excellent! Big happy smiles on the servers and they sang happy birthday to me with the lovely boss. They gave me a small dessert on the house too. We booked a table for 3 online, and had the onion soup, mussels, beef bourguignon, duck confit, mushroom risotto and citron tart. I will definitely be visiting again to try their other dishes!

Always a delight to visit - table upstairs, busy of course, and a little loud but great food and good value wine list (rare these days). We also took our dog with us which is a nice treat all round. Service was attentive but not fussy at all. Can’t fault it.
