We began in 1964. It was the time of the Beatles and Rolling Stones and an air of great fun. Anything seemed possible, it was the Sixties! Grumbles was the first restaurant in London with a silly name!In the early days as we rushed around the tables, we hardly had time to notice the faces of the likes of Beatles, Mamas and Papas, Julie Christie, Michael Foot, Christine Keeler, Ian le Frenais, Rod Steiger and so many many more as well as Jane Lapotaire sometimes helping with the Founder Jeremy Friend washing up!Grumbles and its customers have been such a winning combination for over 60 years and we thank you for all your support.

Le Garrick, located in London's theatreland, is an intimate French restaurant. There is a homely restaurant at ground level, while at lower ground level the friendly bar/dining room has intimate nooks and booths for romantic moments.     We had a fantastic experience at Claude’s celebrating our son’s birthday. The service was fantastic, very attentive, and the food was delicious. From the drinks to the appetizers to the desserts - everything was delicious.

    A great little French restaurant near Covent Gardens with great pre-play menu & traditional French menu items. The wine was tasty & a good value. My wife had the Christmas 3 course menu which was delicious & I ordered escargot & bouef bourginon. Both were tasty, should have ordered the onion soup!

    Bistro Union never disappoints, but today’s lunch was my best experience yet! Dining with my wife, a friend, and one of my sons, we were once again blown away by the quality and variety of the menu. The ingredients are second to none, and the duck breast—truly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. This restaurant is a jewel in the crown of Abbeville Road. The food, service, and ambiance are consistently exceptional, making it a reliable choice every time. Thoroughly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
