Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind of a bistro, kind of a diner, internationally inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. This classic supper club boasts live performances every night, from Tuesday through Saturday. Bistro-style cuisine, prepared in the traditional French technique, with ingredients from all over the world, prepared with passion by our Executive Chef, Roshan Vermezyari. Our beautiful main stage is home to "Red Pops" - a gorgeous red Steinway baby grand piano - meticulously maintained. There is a cover charge for performances on all of our stages, except our Piano Bar performances on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 7, which are free of charge.Our 3rd-floor Event Space is available for your next corporate or private event. Equipped with another stage and a full bar, the "Jazz Cellar" has an outdoor area that is licensed for 45 guests (closed in the winter), and an indoor area that holds 55 comfortably, year-round. It's the perfect downtown location for your next event!

    From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was perfect. Our server Kenny was wonderful, he was informative and entertaining. All the dishes were fantastic. It’s a beautiful space. We had the Valentine Day fixed menu and it was the greatest steak I’ve ever had in my life.  I will absolutely be back to try more from the regular menu. Bravo Lapinou.

    Love Cluny - such a beautiful space and service is always amazing (I've coincidently been there 3x in 2025 -- family brunch, dinner with friend group, valentine's day with hubby -- all experiences were top notch. Although its a large open space it doesn't seem to get loud and still feels intimate and romantic, if that's what you're looking for. Thanks to the Cluny team.

    Aloette made for the perfect date night! The service was exceptional—attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, from the melt-in-your-mouth lamb skewer to the delicious Aloette burger with Beaufort cheese. The sides—we grabbed the tots and crispy butternut squash—were incredible. The ambiance, paired with great music, set a relaxed yet lively mood. We finished with the perfect slice of carrot cake. Everything was top-notch, and we can't wait to come back!
