We love coming to Kettners. It’s an oasis of calm in busy London. Service was not as good as usual. Had to keep asking for drinks and top ups of water. Portions small. But we come for the atmosphere and very relaxed setting. It’s a tradition we hold to always meet at Kettners, but would love a little more bang for our buck. We will be back as it’s great. Preferred the food when the previous chef was in charge. French food doesn’t need to be fussy and expensive.

Lovely dinner - really romantic and cosy candlelit restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff. Extensive wine list and very tasty food. Our only complaint would be the valentines mark-up (seemed to be roughly 50% from the normal menu) but oh well.

Amazing food, friendly staff, sat at the counter and watched the chefs at work. Romantic but buzzy atmosphere! Loved!

The service, as always, was friendly and charming. The food was good, but would have been even better served on warm, rather than cold plates. The Lapin casserole (speciality of the day) had rather a lot of bones in it, making it a bit fiddly, but the flavour was delicious. Will definitely return.

We asked and were given a lovely booth on the ground floor to accommodate my parent’s needs. Service was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the new Cote menu and the creme caramel went down well for desserts.
