So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.     Again, on December 25th, I went to SkyHigh for the second time, and this time, I invited my parents since they had never been to a restaurant above all in the heights and in the skies like SkyHigh. It was a very calm, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent service and very professional, as always! My parents and I were delighted and happy. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. I will definitely go back again.

    Absolutely amazing. Coolest place. Nothing missing. Food was creative, fresh and inventive. Elevated Fishtown to the next level. Felt and tasted like somewhere in the East Village of NY. Food will blow you away!!! Bravo!!!!!

    Taisha is the most wonderful greeter and server. Always makes you feel welcome. This is a beautiful, pretty quiet place for lunch. Food interesting but I always order from the coffee bar, which is delicious.
