We found this restaurant close to our hotel in South Beach. We wanted to try an authentic Cuban restaurant and La Mulata did not disappoint. We had the empanadas, croquettes and the slow roasted pork was out of this world! The service was fast and friendly and tremendously informative. I highly recommend.

Excellent experience. It was definitely a vibe! The food and drinks were yummy. We unexpectedly got free shots during "shot o'clock."

The food was decent. I had the Freddy’s salad which was good and quite large, but for $28 it better be. My dining partners had the burger, which she said was not great and extremely undercooked (she ordered medium but it was red and cold center), fries were bland. Matzo ball soup was ok but not great. We were excited about the pigs in a blanket but when it arrived it was dry and did not seem freshly prepared. Our waiter ignored us for a while. He was pleasant enough but we had to keep flagging him down. Never got water refills at all. Expensive and not so great service.
