Outstanding food and service! Small and quaint dining room. We had 3kids with us - aged 8, 9, and 10 - and the waiter was great with them!

Food was delicious! Definitely large portions but good!

The food was delicious- great selections and variety… you can even have breakfast as it is served all day! The server was so kind and friendly. It was a wonderful experience!

The tea itself and service were excellent. The savoury components were well balanced and delicious. The sweet components were hit or miss. Some were overwhelmingly sweet. The clotted cream was closer to a chantilly or whipped cream than a true clotted cream. However the scones and the jam were delicious. The ambience was also a bit mundane. Overall, the experience satisfied a craving, but did not match the expectations based on price.

As always, our experience at Ted’s bulletin was superlative. First and most important, the food is outstanding. And the desserts are even better, especially the carrot cake and the chocolate cake. Loved my snowball for nostalgic reasons. Be sure to get a milkshake. And the cornbread sticks. And the brussels sprouts. We ate at Ted’s four times in the four days we visited DC. The manager was so gracious in giving us a table on our fourth day as we were short on time before leaving for the airport. The staff were already beginning to recognize us. Can’t wait to visit DC again so we can eat at Ted’s at least once every day of our trip. And take home more desserts.
