Highly recommended. Good food and nice environment. Staff on ground were welcoming. I will like to visit another time.

My girlfriend had been wanting lobster for nearly a year and we couldn't find anywhere for it but she said herself upon eating here "this is the best thing I've ever tasted". It made her day honestly and the staff were amazing! We had a few staff members come over, they were all lovely and served with a smile- I had the sirloin steak and it was perfect, obviously my girlfriend had the lobster and absolutely loved it. Cocktails were delicious too, and it was lovely to have water on the table throughout, they were very attentive and kept the refill glass full. We will absolutely be back, my girlfriend even asked me when we would be 😂 Thank you hawksmoor for a lovely meal, and for a delicious steak and lobster.

We had afternoon tea to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The tea started with some nicely cut fresh sandwiches. They could have been a bit more exciting, however the egg and cress, ham and tomato, tuna mayo, and cheese and chutney were pleasant enough. The scones with jam and cream were homemade, but I think the server had forgotten to serve the butter as there was some left on another table - but we didn't really miss it! The brownies, date and toffee cake, and mini lemon meringue pies were all delicious. The tea and coffee could do with being a bit stronger, but that's just me! All in all, it was a pleasant experience, although some more savory elements would have tempered the overwhelming sugar hit.

Fantastic night out! Booked in here for a catch up with some old Uni friends as we used to frequent this bar while at Uni. Looks much better than it did back in the day. Staff all super friendly and chatty despite it being so busy. Food was great, we got the side plate deal and it was more than enough for us to share. Can't fault it. Will be back next time we're in Dundee :)
