Amazing experience for our trip to beautiful Bath.

Visited Bath for Valentine's Day and The Square Brassiere and Piano Bar was our post Valentine's evening venue. We were booked in for 7:30pm and expected to be there for a couple of hours or so. From the moment we entered the premises we felt we were special. The staff were polite and attentive, the venue was welcoming and nicely laid out and the pianist was fun and accommodating regarding requests. We had the set Valentine's menu, none of which disappointed, delivering a variety of choices within it's framework. We had a great evening, eventually leaving at closing time. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service and attention to detail was so impressive. The food was beautiful and I don't think I've ever seen my husband enjoy a steak as much as he did at the Ivy Cardiff. The only flaw I'd mention, if considered a flaw, more a personal opinion really, was the music level was a tad too high so we couldn't fully enjoy the romantic sounds of the harpist. Otherwise everything was exactly what I'd expect and was a real treat for us. Finally the little birthday dessert treat was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much to all the staff.

A great experience from start to finish. Imaginative menu with numerous options - any of which I could happily have chosen. Friendly and helpful staff, who made us welcome. Superb attention to detail. First visit, definitely not the last.

All the staff are professional, friendly, helpful and service with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. On arrival you are immediately asked if you or your party have allergies. Drinks order taken promptly and left with an extensive menu to make your selection plus a specials board, if you are not ready they give you more time. Knowledgeable about all the dishes but also happy to check with the chef. Food is always hot and tasty, asked if any sauces are required. Check to see if everything is ok once you have had time to enjoy some of the food. Dessert menu offered but no hard sell. You are not rushed so free to relax and enjoy the occasion. Have been going for many years, I am in a large powerchair and they always seat me at an appropriate table enabling me to be comfortable but also room enough for other customers and servers to get passed safely. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed
