At the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning grounds of Woburn Park. It was my 21st birthday and i ordered the flat iron steak - it was absolutely divine, cooked perfectly. I also got a scoop of ice cream with a candle in on the house! I always love coming here, it feels so sophisticated and classy but laid back at the same time. Every time i visit the Hermitage i have an amazing time. Prices were reasonable considering the quality.

I booked afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my daughter. We loved the setting and atmosphere of The Priory and were greeted warmly. I loved that we were introduced to the staff individually because it made us feel most welcome. The Presecco, the food and the tea was delicious and very nicely presented and service was good too. I would love to say everything was perfect but if I could make this observation it is a request for at least two more little sandwiches just to balance all the sweet things with savoury. But thank you . We had a lovely time.
