A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. I had lunch here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly but not intrusive service and to our surprised delight my friend was brought a delicious complimentary cake on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it . Will certainly return.
