Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. There is a handsome bar menu too, and as always, Sunday roasts are a big fixture on the menu every week.

Welcome to The Bull Inn, a traditional, long-standing public house on the road between Wokingham and Arborfield.The pub dates back to at least 1728, before which it was a brew-house for Sparks Farm.It has been a Grade II listed building for more than 40 years. We booked for Christmas Eve and had the festive menu and as always the food and service were excellent. Special mention for our waiter, Joe Lynskey, who was amazing. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Such a delightful afternoon spent at Frimley Hall for their festive afternoon tea. Service was very quick and friendly, we were kindly offered a top up of the sandwiches which were absolutely amazing, clotted cream & Jam and fresh tea. No request was too big. I’d definitely put this on my go to list now. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our experience here. The price is amazing too, such great value for what is on offer!

The chicken dish was beautifully presented and very tasty. The only niggle was that I don’t like carrots or broccoli - I should have asked what the mixed veg were but the green beans were lovely. The chocolate vegan tart was really delicious and also beautifully presented. Once ordered the service was very prompt.
