The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks. In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 2024 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience. The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

    I accidentally booked an outside table, whoops , however no problem with the MAITRE D so happily accommodated us , amazing river Thames views as promised, Sunday roast was scintillating, service was exacerbated by the amazing staff, see you soon 😊

    What a lovely breakfast! Well presented, tasty, generous portions and superb coffee! Great specials advertised too … will need to go back! Weekday breakfast special until end Feb @ £10pp, Mondays all you can eat wings night, Tuesday all you can eat ribs night, and also now offering a Sunday lunch. See you soon!

    Food tremendous - met the head chef and team - seriously good. Service was so friendly and thoroughly professional. A relaxed environment but an upmarket one too. Brilliant all round and worth every penny. We were just a table of 3, but can tell had it would also be great for bigger parties and special events. Dog friendly in the bar area too which was great for us. Thank you Greyhound team!

    All of the team working on the morning of 15th February 2025 were delightful, polite and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents). Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us.

    Love coming here as the atmosphere and quality of food is always excellent. Would highly recommend the frites starter, as they are a clear house favorite. Great selection of non-alcoholic drinks also. Atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff really ensure you are looked after. Definitely one of my regular go to spots.
