A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines. Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £20, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday. Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are currently unable to accept cash at our new premises and are card-only.

Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks. Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials. Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash. Without doubt the best plant based food we've ever had - and this is consistently so over many visits. Callum and Sammy have recruited an amazing team - they are attentive but not overbearing. All of them are friendly and helpful and as front of house, Tim is just brilliant. Thank you again for another wonderful lunch!

This was our first visit to Chefs Table and from the warm welcome we received as we arrived it was clear we were going to have a really enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic ,very innovative and wonderful flavours and the decision on which dish to choose was very difficult as all sounded delicious !!! The service was superb with all the waiters fully engaged and very knowledgeable whether the food or wine . We will certainly be back as it was a memorable meal.

Good pub grub. Service was slow but ok. Table needed a good clean, felt sticky. Otherwise, good value for money, fairly busy. I would recommend booking if you want to eat.
