The Britannia is Richmonds leading independent restaurant and bar. Located in the centre of town and down a very pretty cobbled alleyway, we are next to historic Richmond Green and two minutes from the Waterside.We have two large outside spaces - A roof terrace for traditional dining and a garden that lends itself to drinks and lighter fare. Overall the experience was amazing. Lovely welcome by staff and all very knowledgeable. We used to go to the Greyhound in Peppard but realised it had been sold and is no longer open, so we thought we would try the Grill Off the Green. We were not disappointed. Food as usual was outstanding.

Wonderful welcome and service attention without being too fussy. Staff always there when needed with friendly smiles and a pleasant manner. A busy restaurant without seeming so. Great staff- thank you for an excellent Christmas lunch
