Second visit this time Saturday mid afternoon, table for 2, salmon starter shared , flat iron steak, sides were sweet heart cabbage (this was very tasty) & green salad (fresh but lacking something to make it special) Atmosphere great, staff were fabulous .

We opted for the seasonal set menu….it was delicious. The Turkey Ballotine and the shepherds pie was delicious, my husband really enjoyed the shepherds pie saying it was rich & full of meat. I was going to order the snowman pudding which was served under a cloche and when lifted, wafted smoke/ dry ice …… love the theatre but it looked quite big so we went for the chocolate bomb …. delicious. Really lovely restaurant, the staff are all very friendly and the whole place was very festive. Lastly, it was our wedding anniversary… when we’d finished our meal our server came over with a chocolate profiterole with Happy Anniversary written on a chocolate square… lovely little touch. We would definitely come back here…. we really enjoyed our experience.

Absolutely incredible evening at Smoke & Salt. The food was so delicious, each and every dish cooked perfect with so many gorgeous flavours. The service was so great as well, everyone was so accommodating and attentive throughout. Could not recommend enough and we will definitely be back again and again! We had a delightful Christmas afternoon tea, the food was sublime with so much effort put in to creating a fabulous Christmas setting on the top layer of cakes…. This is definitely a jewel in the crown and a hidden gem… we were all delighted with the service we were given by the lovely Manpreet… such a sweet young lady with impeccable manners…. Will definitely be returning soon and hopefully staying over to relish a well reviewed breakfast

Food was good but didn't have everything we wanted. Chef arrived after us so had to wait quite a while
