A slick, modern space with dining for 160 guests inside and a fabulous covered & heated outside dining terrace for 60 – perfect for alfresco dining. The menu is modern British with an eclectic mix of Albert’s favourites and dishes from around the globe, all using only fresh local ingredients. Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch. From 14th November ’24, Higher Ground is opening on Thursday lunchtimes and is now open from 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays!At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     Had a wonderful afternoon celebrating an upcoming birthday and had afternoon tea and drinks. The staff were attentive and friendly. Service was fabulous and the food was great. We will definitely be back again and would recommend. Views are amazing and an added bonus.

    A really nice visit, excellent service from a very pleasant lady who was very attentive. The food was really nice and served at a nice steady pace. Everybody seemed to be on their top game today. Well done.

    The Beech Inn is ready for Christmas that's for sure. The pub looks amazing and there are even real Christmas trees being sold in the garden. They have festive cocktails which are all 2-4-1 which was a great little surprise and treat I couldn't refuse. The pizza's looked and smelt amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive and there was an overall great vibe. I am new to the area but will definitely be back!
